"Living in North Idaho" Moments will be a regular posting to the blog.  The videos will vary in content with a common thread through out.  I will do my best to show areas of interest in the North Idaho area.  Events, following the seasons, different establishments, new construction, and answers to Real Estate questions I am asked.  All clips / videos showing off a bit of beautiful North Idaho.

Super One Grocery broke ground November 2011 for their new Bonners Ferry, Idaho store.  With the progress that has been made in 4 short winter months it might be hard to remember what was there prior to the building that now stands.  Watch for continued progress videos as well as facts of Grand Opening planned for later in 2012.

Sandpoint Trains

     Trains are part of the heritage of Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry.  Multiple times thru out the day you will hear them, be driving side by side with them, or see them in the distance.  All part of the ambience of North Idaho, and especially the Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint areas.  These trains can have 100 cars or more and stretch as far as a mile.  I never tire of seeing them.  The sheer power of these monsters never ceases to amaze me.  Click here to enjoy a moment with a couple.

Snow Removal - Downtown Bonners Ferry

     We all tend to take for granted work that gets done that makes life easier for us as a whole.  We all see the snow plows heading down the highways so we can drive safely.  What though happens to the snow in our downtown areas where there is no side of the road to push it?  Parking lots with no space before a building or sidewalk?  I could not sleep the other morning and Grizzly is always good to go for a walk.  So by accident we found this snow removal operation in downtown Bonners Ferry.  Always fun to see what we don't even take time to think about.  Click here to view the video.
